Services We Provide

We’re here to provide you with the tools you need to succeed, no matter what it takes. Electronic Source Company has a full-range of end-to-end electronic manufacturing including:

ESC Utilizes Epicore 10.2, its expert supply-chain staff, and stringent processes to ensure on-time deliveries to our customers.

An effective supply-chain is critical for on-time delivery to ESC’s customers. With our recent implementation of Epicor 10.2 to augment our supply-chain staff and stringent processes, positons ESC to deliver products on time, and in exact accordance with customer documentation.

ESC offers supply-chain solutions that meet our customer’s needs, including multi-level Kanban and JIT.

ESC has comprehensive PCBA expertise, from hand-soldering and bonding IAW NASA 8739 requirements to high-volume IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 Class 3S assemblies.

ESC offers high-volume and low-volume, high-mix printed circuit board assembly services. We have an on-site, certified trainer forand NASA-STD-8739. We also perform bonding and staking, conformal coating, and testing.

There are virtually no limits to the type of PCBA’s ESC can effectively assemble.

ESC is equipped with two Mycronic (Formerly Mydata) work cells with the capability to place component package down to 01005. Our capabilities allow ESC to provide quick-turn service that meet the customer’s demand. Our equipment, staff, and processes ensure on-time delivery no matter the volume.

ESC has a Fuji chip shooter line that support our customers high volume demand. The Fuji line allows ESC to support and reduce the customer’s support time in getting their products to the consumer faster.

ESC performs Flying Probe Test, In-Circuit Test, Functional Test, Environmental Test, High Pot Test on site for aerospace, space, defense, and commercial customers. ESC flying probe option allows us to generate test programs for as few as one piece builds and ramp up and therefore be ready for production test.

Electro-Mechanical assembly along with printed circuit assembly, is the core of ESC’s expertise.

ESC performs complex box-build for customers in the markets we serve. We do IAW customer documentation requirements using purpose-built work-cells and conveyor lines. This offers our customers a one-stop, turnkey shop for a complete system, including pack-out.

ESC has work cells and conveyor lines who routinely deliver box-level, electro-
mechanical assemblies from products ranging to missile systems to airborne WIFI
routers.

We have the technology to manufacture your technology.

In the high tech world, today’s technology is yesterday’s news, so being the first to market is critical to success. That’s why leading companies around the U.S. rely on ESC to deliver quality products on budget and on time.

Prototype assembly services play an important role in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, providing rapid design validation and the identification of Design For Manufacturability (DFM) and Design For Test (DFT) improvements prior to the transfer of production.

Housed within our Van Nuys facility, our NPI center has standardized on the MYDATA platform: The MYDATA platform is extremely flexible because they can handle virtually any surface mount component in one placement machine, making them ideal for Prototypes.

The NPI center’s primary functions are rapid design validation, DFM enhancement and cost reduction opportunity identification to facilitate a smooth transfer to production. The self-contained work-cells include staff dedicated solely to prototype business. Depending on the delivery requirements, projects can be completed within hours to 5 days.

New Product Introductions (NPI)

ESC is equipped with two Mycronic (Formerly Mydata) work cells with the capability to place component package down to 01005. Our capabilities allow ESC to provide quick-turn service that meet the customer’s demand.

The NPI center’s capabilities include:

  • Boards sizes up to 20'' x 24''.

  • 01005s and BGAs of all types (up to 2.2'' sq inches)

  • Design For Manufacturability (DFM) analysis with every prototype order.

  • AXI (Automated X-Ray Inspection) and Ersascope performed on all assemblies

  • Jet Printing and Automated Selective Solder Eliminate time to procure stencils and wave fixtures

  • Flying probe testing allows even the smallest lot sizes to be effectively tested
